In an absolute first I directed the Sports parts of the riveting web series called The Chargesheet – Innocent or Guilty.
Had the enviable task to blend the twin aspects of the intricacies of Drama with the precision of Sports. This project most certainly opened up a new avenue for me, creatively speaking.
The day and age of the mobile phone and the vertical format has definitely arrived. Had the good fortune of being part of the luminaries’ series of Unacademy called Graphy. Life lessons via interesting real life, anecdotal chapters formed the core of this series. Lead the project involving the voice of cricket – Harsha Bhogle.
Was part of the team that got us the biggest food show in India. Master Chef India broke the hitherto belief that food shows do not work on PRIME TIME. My contribution was spread across the 3 areas of pre-production, production and post production, with key responsibilities in scripting and editing.
Also headed the 1st 2 years of the spin off show Zaaykebazon ka Safar. It gave great numbers and was a very worthy and popular branch of the main show.
In charge of the entire content, styling and overall execution of the Curtain Raiser featuring the highs and lows of the last 8 seasons and 17 years in the universe of Kaun Banega Crorepati.
A truly massive task to bring 17 years of memorable moments and 8 seasons of the most celebrated show in the history of Indian Television and encapsulate everything in just a 1 hour special episode. It was a task that required all my years of content skill and story-telling abilities.
Deeply connected with the show that featured top notch names who had a flair for comedy like Shekhar Suman, Raveena Tandon, Arshad Warsi and Shreyas Talpade. With the focus on getting the tone and comic texture right for the Indian masses, I was hands on involved with the creative team in scripting, act creation as well as editing the show.
In a first of a kind, a very innovative way to promote a film by weaving a reality show and an event to create buzz in the market before the release of the film Munna Michael starring Tiger Shroff & Nawazuddin Siddiqui. It is the ultimate blend of Television and Cinema.
As a trend setter it was very important to balance the twin goals of an impactful film promotion campaign and a worthy TV event. Managing to do that was an achievement of sorts.
Head of Eros Now’s ambitious project called Salute Siachen. An engaging web series covering the trials and tribulations of 9 Celebrities who made a successful attempt to unfurl the Indian flag at the feared Siachen Glacier as a mark of respect to the Indian Soldiers.
In charge of the overall creative outcome of the series including content, narrative style plus look and feel.

Worked on multiple BBC formats to make them palatable for the Indian audiences with value additions on all facets of any given show. Plus created fresh, original formats to whet the appetite of the Indian audience.
Started my career with Zee Cinema and learnt the ropes of the 30 second medium. Went onto launch Promo Campaigns of Satya, Dil Se, The Legend of Bhagat Singh, Chachi 420, Jungle, Ghulam, Mast, Urmila Festival, Cinema Classics etc.
Worked on the proverbial lost and found theme wherein 4 siblings lose touch with each other as children and then re unite many years later in intriguing conditions.
The show was called Kahin Toh Milenge. Wrote 40 episodes of the same.
